Originally a separated floor plan the client wanted to open up the space to create a more relaxed Kitchen and Dining Room. We removed the wall that separated the two spaces and created an island for the family and entertaining. A redesigned fireplace with flanking millwork creates storage for the Dining Room including a few wine bottles. Just off the Kitchen is a desk which can be hidden with a slow close barn door. This is always a helpful space near the Kitchen and can be easily tucked away when entertaining.
